Elder Leon Green, Jr.
Elder Leon J. Green, Jr. is a born-again believer of the Lord Jesus Christ, and has become known for his unquenchable passion to see the glory of Jesus Christ strongly manifested in the lives of the broken. He is an ordained licensed minister of the gospel and committed to the developing of new believers and men in ministry. He has served for over 15 years as a minister and senior leader at Christ Church of Grovetown; but his ministry and calling has always extended to the broader body of Christ and the unchurched. Elder Green has been graced by God to teach the gospel in thought provoking and compelling ways and currently serves as the pastor and teacher of THE ROCK at STILL WATERS Ministries.Elder Green has earned multiple degrees, including a BS in Business Administration; a Master of Science, in Project Management; and is in the final phase of completion of his Ph.D. in Business. He is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and is a Veteran of the United States Army. He is married to his amazing wife and ministry partner, the former Dawn Charleston. They have a blended family of six children and nine grandchildren.
Minister Dawn Charleston Green
Dawn Charleston-Green, a native of Mansfield Louisiana, was formerly a Director in child advocacy. In this capacity, Dawn was responsible for ensuring the advocacy and best interest of abused and neglected children in foster care. She currently, however, is a stay-at-home mom; as well as a minister focused on biblical clarity, women, youth, and outreach. Dawn is an ordained minister and teacher, and for over 15 years served at Christ Church of Grovetown as the church pianist and Praise Leader. Though Dawn has been conducting and facilitating women’s Bible Studies for several years now, she recently revamped the group giving it the name C3- COFFEE, Couches, and Conversations. COFFEE stands for Chicks of Faith, Focused, Encouraged, & Empowered. Dawn is a graduate of Northwestern State University of Louisiana where she received a Bachelors of Art in English in 1996, a Masters of Education in Counseling in 2003, and is 12 hours shy of a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. Dawn served in the United States Army from 1996-2007; having initially enlisted as a Finance Specialist and later going on to receive her commission as an Air Defense Artillery officer in 2003. Dawn served for 11 years, completing her time in service as a Captain and Finance Officer in the 15th Signal Brigade at Fort Gordon. Dawn is the bride of Retired CSM and now Pastor Leon Green, Jr. and they have a blended family of 6 children. Dawn was a 2012 Shero in Law & Government Recipient and served on the Executive Board for GA CASA. She also holds other prestigious awards such as the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and the Bronze Wahathchee Award for Volunteerism. She is a 26 year member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
