Still Waters Ministries, Inc. is committed to making a difference in the countries that need help the most. We have earmarked Haiti and Africa as the countries with the most need. Below is an overview of the projects we are working on in these countries.
Love 19’72 – A Mission in Haiti
Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, has been battered by natural disasters over the last decade. Repeated natural disasters, political infighting and poverty have slowed recovery. Still Waters Ministries, Inc. has begun a major work in Labelleonde in Hinche, Haiti to do our part to bring help to a devastated people.
By far, the biggest identified need in Haiti is CLEAN WATER!
60% of Haitians do not have access to clean water. The need for clean water is so great that it is impacting almost area of their lives. The world poverty index list 147 countries that lack clean water – Haiti Ranks 147. In Haiti, CHOLERA is the #1 leading cause of infant mortality and child illness.
Since starting our Love 19’72 – A Mission in Haiti in 2017, through God’s great mercy, Still Waters Ministries, Inc. has been able to accomplish the following goals:
After much work and coordination we have successfully built a bountiful well that produces ( ) liters per minute.
eAfter years of misery, walking for miles to access clean was from a spring, now everyone in the community no has access to clean water near them for free.
Most of this project has been fully paid for. We now only need:
to finish paying for the ….

GREAT GOAT GIVEAWAY
One female goat can make the difference between life or death, providing milk and additional goats to make a herd!
So far we have been able to provide 40 Goats for 40 Families!
2017 also brought with it a monumental affirmation that we were being led to continue our work in Haiti.
We had a major donation from the government of Haiti. 30 ACRES OF LAND! In Labelleonde near Hinche.
We want to especially thank the Mayor of Haiti and the local government for their generous donation.
Our Immediate Goals
Living directly on this land are at least 30 families, a small amount of livestock roaming free and untold amount of orphaned children. Many of these orphans have no options for improving their situation and are at risk of exploitation.
When we distribute food they come from everywhere patiently waiting for something to eat. We often provide 700 meals at a time.
All of the people living there have no convenient clean water source. They walk great distances to retrieve water from a natural spring and must carry it back in containers.
Our immediate goal is to stabilize these families as soon as possible by first providing what they need the most, WELLS to provide consistent and permanent CLEAN WATER!
We are currently in the process of coordinating and raising funds to drill 2 WELLS. Both wells will be free to use for the people on the land and also for the people of Labelleonde and Hinche.
To drill a well it costs approximately $8,700. To complete 2 wells we need a total of $17,400
Our Future Goals
The 30 acre acquisition has also opened the door to plan for even bigger things to help the devastated people of Labelleonde. We have some challenges with difficult roads but our future goal is to make the land an epicenter for building projects that will enhance the local people physically, mentally and spiritually.
These plans include:
A Multi-Purpose Building to be used as an interim facility for:
- Mission Trips
- Medical Missions
- Church Functions
- And More!
Other future building goals include:
- Caretaker/Mission Home
- Recreation Center
